Doug’s experience in healthcare marketing is extensive and goes back 25 years. He started his career as an agency Art Director and quickly ascended to VP/Creative Director before launching his own agency in 1993.

He has a thorough knowledge of the issues and communications challenges in healthcare. He is active in both regional and national professional healthcare marketing associations where he has been a presenter and speaker where he regularly shares best practices.

Doug contributes to his clients’ understanding of new strategies and approaches in marketing communications and has led his agency in developing distinctive brands and integrated campaigns that have achieved impressive results for acute care facilities, healthcare delivery systems and physician practices. He is highly skilled and experienced in interacting with physicians and being involved at a strategic level with senior leadership.

Clients have also utilized his skills in working with physician group practices in areas of physician relations. He is the recipient of more than 200 professional and industry awards, has been a visiting professor of advertising at Boston College and has been a contributor to articles in Healthcare

Marketing Report and Healthcare Advertising Review along with other industry publications. He is a member of the New England Society for Healthcare Communications, the National Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, and The Boston AD Club.

His expertise includes search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM), both paid and organic, all forms of Internet marketing (including e-mail, affiliate marketing and landing pages), social media marketing, website development (e-commerce, conversion tracking) and mobile phone marketing, including iPhone applications. He is a Google, Yahoo and Bing specialist.

Some of Kevin’s comprehensive work with clients includes designing, launching and managing paid searches involving thousands of keywords including analyzing ad effectiveness and optimizing search results. He also analyzes and improves website efficiency and develops and implements social marketing campaigns on all major social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogs).

Kevin is fluent in Spanish and also has international SEO & marketing experience. Clients he has worked with include Exeter Hospital, Mather Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospitals in Needham and Milton, Fresenius Medical Care and State Street Bank.
